Oppolzer | Seifert represents customers or competitors that have suffered damages as a result of competition law infringements. We lead settlement negotiations and, where necessary, enforce our clients‘ claims in court. 

We have extensive experience in the representation of claimants (e.g. in the cartel cases regarding TV-advertising, sugar, and trucks) and have longstanding and close contact and relationships with leading competition economists and litigation funds, enabling us to offer you a comprehensive one-stop service in the recovery of damages.

Oppolzer | Seifert files merger notifications with the German Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission. Where transactions require merger clearance in multiple jurisdictions we can rely on a longstanding international network of leading antitrust counsel. 

We also examine mergers planned by third party companies and make sure your competition concerns are heard in the authorities‘ merger control proceedings and, where required, through appeal procedures. 

Oppolzer | Seifert devises joint ventures and drafts cooperation agreements between competitors, e.g. regarding joint research and development, joint production or purchasing.

Oppolzer | Seifert reviews existing and proposed distribution agreements and drafts tailor-made distribution systems compliant with competition law.

We examine long-term or exclusive supply-contracts and advise and represent clients that are affected by anticompetitive delivery or purchase restrictions. 

Oppolzer | Seifert conducts antitrust compliance trainings for executives and (sales) staff and supports clients in the implementation of tailor-made compliance management systems. 

If an antitrust infringement is suspected, we investigate internally and – if need be – file leniency applications with the German Federal Cartel Office, the European Commission and competition authorities in other jurisdictions.
